各位博士生：
2005年微软学者奖学金评选已经于4月初在亚太地区37所高校陆续展开。其宗旨是授予亚太地区最具研究潜力的计算机相关领域的博士生，帮助他们实现在计算机研究方面的潜能。其目标是通过和大学的共同推荐评选，奖励最富研究潜力的计算机相关专业的博士候选人；通过提供参加国际学术会议及在微软亚洲研究院实习的机会和其他的研究资源，与高校共同培养人才。
请有意申评博士生于5月24日前下午5：00前将将申请材料等交到研究生部，在进行综合评选后将向微软研究院推荐一名侯选人。

程序细节：
1、奖品及证书：“微软学者”将获得奖学金六千美元，或者伍万元人民币，其中包括参加国际学术会议经费；
“微软学者”将获得由微软亚洲研究院院长签名的获奖证书及奖牌；
“微软学者”在取得学校和导师的许可后，有机会到微软亚洲研究院实习；
“微软学者”有效期限为一年；
2、Candidates must major in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Science, or Applied Mathematics. Candidates must be in the junior year of their PhD program.Recommendation comments from PhD supervisor and department chair are required.
3、请务必提交全部要求的信息，并用英文完成所有资料，否则可能会影响到参选者的评选成绩：Required application information

？Curriculum Vitae (c.v.): including a list of publications and other academic achievements
？Video or PPT presentation with audio-recorded introduction: maximum 15 minutes including self-statement; previous, on-going and future projects; research interests and accomplishments; etc.
