This paper presents a new method for measuring the shear piezoelectric constant d15．The principle of the method is verified by finite element simulation．A special fixture was designed to create the needed shear force on a tested specimen for
quasi—static ds3 meter．By using the fixture，the ordinary quasi-static d33 meter is able to easily perform fast and accurate dismeasurement． |
