Tiffs paper presents the concept and propertyof trust and reputation，and studies the relation between trust and reputation．Based on these，the paper provides a survey and classification of existing reputation—based trust management teehno／ogies，and discusses their strengths and short—comings．At last．the challenges and directions for further studies are given．
